After serving 27 years in law enforcement, including leadership roles in investigations, community engagement, and emergency management, I transitioned into entrepreneurship with a clear purpose: helping businesses grow while strengthening the communities they serve.
Throughout my career, I built high-performance teams, led complex investigations, and developed strategic communication systems that increased public engagement and trust. Recognizing early on the power of digital connection, I created my department’s social media presence from the ground up, leveraging technology to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community it served. That commitment didn’t stop at launch. Throughout the end of my career, I continued using social media and targeted communication to keep an open, consistent line of dialogue with the public, because I understood that trust isn’t built in a moment; it’s maintained over time.
Along the way, I noticed something. The people showing up in that community conversation weren’t just residents. They were small business owners. The restaurants, the contractors, the local service providers. The ones quietly keeping neighborhoods alive. And I never forgot that.
When retirement came, I didn’t find myself drawn back into law enforcement. I found myself gravitating toward marketing. The itch to serve the community hadn’t gone away; it had just evolved. I’d spent decades building trust between an institution and the people it served. Now I wanted to do the same thing for the businesses that make communities worth living in.
That’s what brought me to City Publications. Through targeted direct mail and integrated digital campaigns, I connect reputable local businesses with the affluent homeowners most likely to become loyal customers, helping good businesses grow without wasting money on scattered advertising. My approach is relationship-driven, results-focused, and rooted in the same principles I lived by in uniform: clarity, trust, and execution.
I currently lead my primary territory in West Michigan while continuing to operate in Orange County, California. My vision is to build trusted regional advertising platforms that business owners rely on year after year.
I am a devoted husband and father, and my entrepreneurial journey is grounded in building long-term stability, impact, and opportunity for my family and for every community I serve.
